Waterfalls abound here in Oregon. There are many different styles and drops to the waterfalls.

The west side of the Cascade mountains and the Columbia River Gorge seem to have the most impressive ones, tallers and with more water, but there are beautiful ones from one end of the state to the other.

Whitehorse Falls

A beautiful waterfall that is about 15 feet from your car. Just pull into the campground at ‘Whitehorse Falls’ and look for the waterfall viewpoint pull out on the left side of the road. Walk to a little patio area and enjoy the view..

Take Hwy 138 East of Roseburg for 67 miles.
Turn into the Whitehorse Falls campground.
Waterfall is on the left.

Toketee Falls

Toketee Falls is a 25 to 40 foot upper drop from columnar basalt of 120 foot lower drop waterfall on the North Umpqua River. You can see some of the 28 foot upper falls in the photo.

The name "Toketee" comes from the Chinook Indian word for 'pretty' or 'graceful'. Both suit Toketee Falls nicely.

Directions: Toketee Falls is east of Roseburg off of Hwy 138.

From I-5 take Roseburg exit 124. Take Hwy 138 East towards Diamond Lake.
Near milepost 58, turn left to Forest Road #34.
From Forest Road #34, turn left into the parking lot.
Take the trail to the viewing platform. A good walk in, most will not have any problems, but there are a lot of short stairways to get there (and back)

Upper North Falls

Upper North Falls at Silver Falls State Park.

The park is home of 10 majestic waterfalls you can visit on a hike on the "Trail of Ten Falls". You can see most however hiking only a few miles if you move your car to three different parking areas.

The trail for this waterfall is at the North Falls parking lot. At the end of a 1/4 mile trail, you will see this 65 foot waterfall straight in front of you.
